Dr. Harris, I’m curious about the amount of flouride in my water. Do you know where I can find out about my specific county?

    Yes, we do! Actually…

“By July 1 each year, water suppliers nationwide are required to send their customers annual Water Quality Reports or Consumer Confidence Reports, giving dental professionals the opportunity to check on the status of their community’s water—and in particular—its fluoride levels.” (Source: www.ada.org)

In this article, you’ll find a link to look up the flouridation levels for each county in the US. We looked up Greenville Water System, and here’s what we found:

“This water system purchases its water from a water system that adjusts the fluoride concentration upward to the optimum level for the prevention of dental caries (cavities).”
